The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2004. It function’s with work trained professionals under the able guidance of efficient and experienced faculty, who are specialists in the areas of databases, wireless networks, artificial intelligence, image processing, operating systems and programming languages etc. Our faculty memebers are instrumental in developing and judging the students intellectual ability, creativity, approach to solving problem, quality of leadership, tolerance and group behaviours. Our department is committed to prepare effective and responsible graduate engineers for global requirements by providing quality education and respond effectively to the needs of the computing field and changing world to keep the faculty abreast with latest knowledge in the field, They are encouraged to attend seminars, conferences etc. and to present their research work at important conferences.

The department is witnessing a period of exciting growth and opportunity propelled by the top ranking it achieved recently. CSE boasts a vibrant student body of about 400 undergraduate students and a stellar faculty of professors and lecturers.
During the course of study students are guided to present papers in the field of interest at National Level Technical Symposium. Students are also directed to undergo In-Plant training in their semester vacation to improve their quality in the field of study. Knowledge in the industrial areas.
