Lab Name
Electrical Machine Lab

Electrical Machines laboratory is the heart of our department encompassing the machineries such as Induction motor, Synchronous Motor, D.C. motor, Transformers, various starters, variacs, load banks also form part of the equipments. AC supply is received from the EB and also from a standby 550 KVA generator. DC supply is through a rectifier unit with a loading capacity of 100 A. There are 10 DC machines, 6 Induction motor, Synchronous Motors, 8 Transformers.  The lab is equipped with loading facilities for motors of generators and meters of different range. Each machine is provided with a work bench and a connecting panel which are built very safe and are large enough to carry out the experiments comfortably.

Power Electronics Lab
The main objective of this laboratory is to expose students to various fields in power electronics. Well designed platforms are available for experimental work on various topics like characteristics of SCR, MOSFET and IGBT controlled rectifiers using SCR's choppers, Converters, Inverters. The equipments are maintained meticulously.
Measurements And Instrumentation Lab
This lab includes hardware experiments conducted for the students to explore knowledge on various fields like AC and DC bridges, A/D and D/A Converter, Instrumentation Amplifiers, LVDT transducers, this lab is to fortify the students with an adequate work experience in measuring different quantities and supports to expertise in handling the various instruments. The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is credited with state-of –the-art laboratories ie., Electrical machines ,Power electronics, Measurements and Instrumentation , Power System Simulation and Electric Circuits.
